Connecticut voters bitch slapped Joe Lieberman last week when they voted for anti-war preppie Ned Lamont in the state Senate primary.The super santimonious Senator Lieberman now threatens to run as an Independent, but meanwhile the Lamont victory was particularly sweet because voters got to express their feelings about George Bush, once again...and this time the Republicans didn't bother to jerry rig the polls.

Apparently Lieberman feels that he deserves to remain as senator despite the fact that the democratic process worked.
Kinda reminds you of the Middle East, where they're trying to "spread" democracy but never seem to be all that happy with the choice of the electorate.
What is democracy if it's constantly rigged? Reminds me of the bogus Iraqi presidential ballot. Two choices: Sadaam, or being tortured to within an inch of one's life.
